Inspirational

My primary goal as a future students is to be a role model and inspire my students to be successful in all facets of their lives. As a teacher I want to make a difference in my students lives in a way that encourages them to be successful in their lives. We have all had those rare teachers that have inspired us to become educators, and I want to be one of those teachers.

Culturally Responsive

As a teacher you will have classroom filled with students of different races, cultures, and social classes. It is very important to be able to connect with all of your students, so all of your students have the opportunity to be successful. My goal as a teacher is to teach all of my students and educate them in a way in which they will be successful.

Responsibility

I believe that students in school should also be taught responsibility. I want to be able to teach my students responsibility, because it will help them throughout their educational career and in their careers. If students become responsible the more successful their educational careers will be.

Discipline

I have played sports my whole life, and the best lesson I learned from sports was discipline. I believe that this is very important attribute that I can teach my students. As a student I have had teachers who did not have classroom discipline, and it made it difficult to learn. My goal is to have a classroom that is very disciplined so that every student has the best chance to be able to learn.

Technology

As a teacher I will incorporate technology into my classroom. This is because I realize that the world is changing, and education has to keep up with the advances in technology. I will incorporate pod-casts, blogs, and short video's into my lesson plans to keep students interested in the materials, because the more interested they are the more they will learn. Also I understand, that for my students to be successful in their future jobs they must be able to work with technology and use it. As a educator it is your responsibility to prepare your students for their future jobs, and their success will be relative to how well they will be able to understand and use technology.
